project Overview
Kahuna Surfhouse, the first and largest kitesurfing and watersports school in Cyprus, approached our team ahead of the 12th annual King of Kite event with a clear objective: while the event was already well-known within the kitesurfing community, they wanted to expand its reach beyond that niche and attract a broader audience.
The goal was to reposition King of Kite not just as a sports competition, but as a vibrant summer experience—filled with beach vibes, DJs, shows, food trucks, and unforgettable moments.
We partnered with Kahuna to bring this vision to life through a full-scale campaign built around strategic media, original content creation, and targeted digital ads that spoke directly to non-kiters and lifestyle enthusiasts.

Advertising Strategy
Our advertising strategy for Kahuna Surfhouse focused on generating maximum impressions with strong frequency across Meta and Google platforms, ensuring consistent visibility in the lead-up to the King of Kite event.
We rolled out a phased content strategy, starting with reels and event updates to attract non-kiters, then gradually increasing ad spend and posting frequency as the event neared. Daily posts highlighted the host, DJs, party program, and races, while during the event we pushed same-day content to drive attendance for the final day.
Google Ads complemented the strategy by delivering cost-effective reach across YouTube, Gmail, and Discover, further extending awareness beyond Meta’s ecosystem and helping Kahuna reach fresh audiences across Cyprus.
